Every Sunscreen We Carry! (Because the Best Sunscreen Is the One You’ll Actually Use)

At Midwest Dermatology, we believe in one simple sunscreen rule — the best sunscreen for you is the one you’ll actually use.
That’s why we offer a variety of dermatologist-recommended options to match different skin types, lifestyles, and personal preferences — all without the heavy fragrances, greasy residue, or eye-burning formulas you might find elsewhere.

Here’s what sets our sunscreens apart:
  • No added fragrances that can irritate your skin (or make your eyes burn when you sweat)
  • Lightweight, easy-to-apply formulas that stay put through your day
  • Options for every skin type, activity level, and personal preference
  • Broad spectrum high SPF formula to protect against UVA and UVB and help prevent burns, aging and skin cancer

How to Apply Sunscreen the Right Way

No matter which sunscreen you choose, applying it properly is what makes the real difference. Here’s how to do it right:

  • Start with your face. Use about a nickel-sized amount to cover your entire face, ears, and neck — including tricky spots like behind your ears and along your hairline.
  • Apply before you get dressed. This helps you reach areas that clothing might cover up later, like your shoulders, back of the neck, and tops of your feet.
  • Use enough. You’ll need about one ounce of sunscreen (about a shot glass full) to fully cover your arms, legs, chest, back, and any other exposed skin.
  • Don’t forget reapplication. Reapply every two hours when you’re outdoors, and always after swimming or sweating heavily.

The right amount, the right timing — and the right sunscreen — make all the difference.
