Justin G. Madson, M.D., Ph.D., is also an Omaha native and physician who became a member of our Midwest Dermatology team in 2012. The son of a noted Omaha ophthalmologist, Dr. Madson grew up around medicine and joined Midwest Dermatology to help us provide top notch dermatology care for our patients.

Dr. Madson is dual board-certified in Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of The American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD). He completed his undergraduate studies at Cornell University and went on to earn a master’s degree in biology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Dr. Madson took his education full circle, adding a medical degree plus a doctorate degree in molecular studies from Creighton University. After graduating from Creighton with dual doctorates, Dr. Madson completed specialty dermatology training at the Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He is a member of numerous national, regional and state medical associations, including the Acne and Rosacea Society and the National Psoriasis Foundation among others. In 2021, Dr. Madson completed his second board-certification in Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery, a distinction that demonstrates meeting the high standards of knowledge and skill in Mohs Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery.

Dr. Madson treats patients of all ages who suffer from various dermatology conditions and skin diseases. He focuses his time in our Bellevue, Papillion and Norfolk office locations, and patients in those locations regularly cite his strong listening skills and personable manner. Away from Midwest Dermatology, Dr. Madson shares his time and talents as a medical volunteer at Camp Discovery, a camp for children suffering from severe dermatology diseases.

“Dr. Madson did a great job along with his nurse. All procedures were explained in depth, along with the after care.”

“Everyone was pleasant, but Dr. Madson was downright delightful.”
