Jason S. Papenfuss, M.D., is an Omaha native and has what’s best described as a family connection to Midwest Dermatology. That’s because he is the son of Dr. Stephen C. Papenfuss, one of the original founding physicians of the Midwest Dermatology practice.

Dr. Jason Papenfuss is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD). He earned his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine and completed his specialty training at the Utah Health and Science Center, and at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Papenfuss is a proud member of numerous national, regional and state professional organizations, including the Skin Cancer Foundation, the National Psoriasis Foundation and the American Society for Mohs Surgery.

Dr. Papenfuss treats children and adults dealing with a variety of general dermatology conditions. Additionally, he is trained in prevention and surgical treatment of skin cancer including Mohs microscopic skin cancer surgery offering the highest cure rate in the treatment of nonmelanoma skin cancers.  And Dr. Papenfuss helps patients achieve their lifestyle goals through cosmetic dermatology services such as FX Laser and CoolSculpting. He sees patients at Midwest Dermatology’s Dodge, Lakeside Omaha and Norfolk office locations.
