Alexa Paley, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant at Midwest Dermatology. With six years of experience in vascular surgery, Alexa brings both technical skill and a deep commitment to patient-centered care to her role in dermatology.

She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2018. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Apparel Merchandising, Design, and Production from Iowa State University, where she minored in Business. Before pursuing medicine, Alexa worked in customer service and personal styling—experience that sharpened her communication skills and attention to detail, both of which serve her well in dermatology.

Prior to joining Midwest Dermatology, Alexa served as a physician assistant in vascular surgery at Nebraska Methodist Hospital. In that role, she assisted in both open and endovascular surgeries, managed complex inpatient cases, and provided comprehensive care in the clinic.

Alexa is licensed to practice in Nebraska and Iowa, is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA ) and maintains certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants

Drawn to dermatology for its mix of precision procedures and long-term patient relationships, Alexa is known for her thoughtful, thorough approach. Her goal is to ensure each patient feels heard, supported, and confident in their skin.

Outside of the clinic, Alexa enjoys spending time with her husband, two young children, and two pugs. She loves traveling and staying active. Her skincare essential? Daily SPF—no exceptions.
