Botox relaxes the muscles that cause expression lines like frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet. These are called dynamic wrinkles — lines caused by repeated facial movement over time. Botox softens existing lines and helps prevent them from getting deeper, which is why many patients use it not only to improve wrinkles, but also to maintain smoother skin over time.

Chemical peels work on the surface of the skin. They remove damaged outer layers and stimulate new skin cell turnover. Peels help improve sun damage, discoloration, uneven tone, acne, rough texture, and fine lines. They also help with what we call static wrinkles — the lines you can see even when your face is at rest.

When Botox and a peel are done together, we are treating both the muscles and the skin at the same time. One treatment relaxes the lines caused by movement, and the other improves the quality and appearance of the skin itself. The result is often smoother, brighter, and more refreshed-looking skin overall.
